Before you download Shape2Earth for MapWindow GIS:
Download and install the free and open source MapWindow GIS
(Shape2Earth requires the MapWindow45SR.exe release available HERE). Once you have MapWindow installed and working, install Shape2Earth (refer to the online help for more information on installing and using Shape2Earth). Shape2Earth will work in an Evaluation Mode when first loaded. Follow the instructions given to you by Shape2Earth to license for permanent use.
